About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer. The ideal candidate must possess railway knowledge, with experience in both single and multidisciplinary projects related to traction power, earthing and bonding and track plant and equipment.
This role may also include working on projects internationally for Egis, including travel within the UK and Ireland. The role will be based in our London office on a hybrid basis.

The Senior Electrical Engineer forms part of the engineering team based in London. The role assumes general responsibilities that proactively contribute to Project delivery and design.
This includes responsibility for all design of Lighting layouts, small power, containment, LV schematics, transformer sizing, etc.; Documentation: Detailed specification, equipment schedules, etc. General administration and compliance with project requirements for the disciplines.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Attributes
• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in electrical project engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design or construction perspective.
• Capable of working as part of a team and on own initiative.
• Good knowledge of the current electrical, fire alarm and emergency lighting standards.
• Knowledge of key engineering software packages such as Dialux or Relux, Amtech and Navisworks is desirable but not essential.
